A Grain Store Wedding

I’M DELIGHTED to share this fantastic Grain Store wedding in London from last year. Grain Store was in Granary Square, London King’s Cross but has now unfortunately closed down after Bruno Loubet’s decision to hang up his apron retire to Australia. However we still have the fantastic set of photographs from this late October wedding in London.

London is only a 2 hour train ride

It’s always a great pleasure to be asked to photograph a London wedding especially as although I’m primarily a Chester and North Wales wedding photographer. London is only a 2 hour train ride away for me so its actually super efficient. We started the day at the exclusive Royal Automobile Club which is one of the world’s foremost private members’ clubs in Pall Mall. Obviously I felt at home straight away as my dress code was bang on form after I made good use of the shoe shine machine in the lobby. The RAC Pall Mall clubhouse was a fascinating building by any standard full of paintings, trophies as well as other ephemera.

Last weekend in October

We were then whisked across London mercedesesque to the church for the wedding cermony. Post ceremony everybody boarded a pair of vintage London Routemaster buses that took us to Grain Store. Light closed down very quickly on this last weekend in October and Grain Store was a very welcoming environment for the wedding guests with a pianist, champagne and canapés. As you would expect from a Michelin-star winning chef’s restaurant the food and was a massive hit and set the scene for the guests to boogie the night away to some fantastic live music.
