So here it is! One of my favourite weddings I had the pleasure to photograph this year.

Will and Nikki are totally a couple that live for each other and enjoy life to the absolute full whilst doing so.

Their wedding plans were so totally personal.

The day started with some informal shots at their pre wedding day accomodation of the Old House Suites in Shrewsbury. Oh yeah did I mention Will and Nikki wanted informal shots the entire day ? Well these were informal shots in pre wedding attire but so much fun and we were also blessed with great weather for the day.

The ceremony took place at Shrewsbury Castle after which the wedding party walked through ye olde streets of Shrewsbury town to the tudor Morris hall.

The formal wedding was then embellished by their friends and family performing an additional handfasting or tying of the knot ceremony.

After some very funny and engaging speeches by not only the the traditional wedding speakers but also by Nikki herself followed by Nikki’s sisters the evening was finished up with a traditional Ceilidh band.

What a fantastic day 🙂
